Borsao Berola Red
"Opaque purple. Sexy, expansive black and blue fruit and spicecake aromas pick up woodsmoke and mocha nuances as the wine opens in the glass. Sweet mulberry and cassis flavors are nicely concentrated and lively thanks to a jolt of juicy acidity that contributes definition to the back half. Closes with slow-building tannins and very good persistence, leaving a hint of smokiness behind. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks this wine was aged for ten months in 60% French and 40% American oak."
