Checking in as 100% Petit Verdot and all from the Dionysus Vineyard, which is a warmer site that has plantings going all the way back to the early '70s, the 2013 Living In The Limelight sports an inky purple color to go with terrific notes of black and blue fruits, spring flowers, sappy herbs and hints of crushed rock on the nose. A big, full-bodied and concentrated wine, it has beautiful purity of fruit, lots of flavor authority, fine tannin and a big finish where it shows plenty of freshness and focus. It's surprisingly approachable already, yet given the variety, its purity of fruit and its solid underlying tannic structure, I suspect it will cruise in the cellar for at least another 10-15 years.
