Relic The Sage Chardonnay

Relic The Sage Chardonnay The Sage 2015 is based on clone 76 from the Gold Rock Ridge Vineyard in Annapolis, making up 68% of the blend, with Clone 76 from Sun Chase in Petaluma Gap making up the remainder. The aromatics are electric with flinty lemon, lime, tangerine, verbena, fresh fennel, anise seed, cinnamon and vanilla. The palate shows its partial malolactic fermentation with lush creaminess but also laser-beam acidity. Overall, an impression of elegance, sweet fruit and spices and softness linger on the finish.
